Mode of operation
EVlink Controller supports two types of energy management; static and dynamic. With static energy management, a fixed limit is set for the total power of the charging facility. The energy management ensures that this power is shared fairly between the charging stations.
If the system is set to dynamic energy management, an energy meter monitors the intake in the building and communicates with the charging system.
In this way, the EVlink Controller has an overview of the building’s total available power at any given time and distributes this between the building’s normal consumption (for lighting, heating, etc.) and releases free capacity to the charging stations.
Regardless of whether you choose static or dynamic energy management, the system will ensure that available capacity is distributed between the charging points as evenly as possible.
EVlink Controller also supports sub-distributions in the system.
These can also be set up with energy metering so that you can have other loads on the same course as the electric cars.
