After a complete renovation of the former Fyrhuset and the addition of a new three-storey building, Hollenderhaugen School Center now offers modern and flexible facilities. Spanning more than 2,500 m² for teaching and activities, the school aimed to implement a solution that truly puts the user first.
Arkitecht was selected to give students and teachers a simple and intuitive everyday experience, while providing the administration with full visibility over roles, access, and rooms. The solution enables the school to operate without the constant presence of an operations manager, and consolidates all technical systems into a single platform rather than multiple separate solutions. Notifications are sent directly to those who can resolve the issue, making consumption and system status fully transparent.
The result is a smarter building with lower operating costs and greater comfort.

Room reservation
Outside opening hours
If you need to work outside the school’s opening hours, the area can be reserved in advance. The system ensures that the room is heated and ready for use at the desired time.
Rental services
When renting out, external tenants can reserve rooms, gain access to the premises and the necessary keys and other equipment. Heating and access are handled automatically through the solution.
Technical installation
The building’s technical architecture is integrated to provide smarter control of heating boilers and units. These adapt the heating to the outside temperature and how the building is used.
In addition, you will be able to retrieve a detailed overview of energy consumption and receive alerts if errors occur.
Room control
Give each user control over the rooms they use. With customized access levels, a teacher can easily fine-tune the climate and lighting in their classrooms – without affecting the rest of the building.
The intuitive interaction between the wall switch and arkiTag makes management both quick and smart. The most important choices are right on the wall, while advanced settings are accessed in the app. As your phone approaches the switch, you are connected to the right room to set the temperature, light level and personal preferences just the way you want it.
The result? Better comfort, less time wasted and a personalized experience for each user.
